Charisma Carpenter

KimCharisma Carpenter is an American actor, best known for her performance as "Cordelia Chase," in the cult series 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'. Carpenter also trained as a dancer and a professional cheerleader. Carpenter only became an actor after a luck. When a commercial agent spotted her when she was waiting tables in Los Angeles, Carpenter quickly gained notoriety as an advertising model to a prominent character in one of the most well-known fiction dramas of the 1990s. Carpenter was a frequent 'Cordelia for a number of years. She also appeared in teen dramas like "Miss Match," "Charmed and 'Veronica mars'. Her reality series on Investigation Discovery' 'Surviving Evil which was initially titled 'I Survived EvilThen I Survived Evil', shocked the majority of viewers. Carpenter's harrowing story of being assaulted and victimized by a serial rapist at 21 was featured on the show. This exposed a side to Carpenter that viewers did not knew about. In the year 1991, Carpenter and her two friends were attacked by 29-year-old police officer Henry Hubbard Jr. at Torrey Pines State Beach in San Diego. Hubbard took Carpenter at gunpoint , and instructed her to tie both her companions. Carpenter resisted his instructions, giving ample time for her friends to fight Hubbard. Hubbard and her companions suffered minor gunshot injuries. Hubbard was later taken into custody. Carpenter has saved a vital piece of evidence which was a police-issue flashlight which led to the 56-year sentence to prison for the serial sexual predator.
