Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England), is an English artist and singer. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 due to her irresistible electronic pop tunes "Starry Eyed" and Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding stands at the forefront of the movement, just like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap of popular contemporary music, and independent, artistic pop. Her soprano voice and ability to write emotionally authentic songs is what makes her distinct. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a big record deal. The album she released was scheduled for release.
