Coleman was born in Lancashire, and born in the town of Blackpool. She attended Arnold School in Blackpool. She was a headgirl and earned straight A grades in her A-Levels. Discussing her role on Emmerdale Coleman admitted that she regretted not having had a typical university experiences. Coleman performed on Crystal Clear at the Edinburgh Festival as part of a group called In Yer Space, which she performed in when she was at the school. In addition to receiving a prize for her acting, the play that she performed was well-received. When she was auditioning for drama schools, Coleman landed the part in the role of Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale in 2005. Coleman was awarded two awards in 2007. She was named as the Best Newcomer of 2007 at British Soap Awards and Most Popular Newcomer at the National Television Awards. In the British Soap Awards of 2009 she was awarded in the categories Best Actress and Sexiest female and the Best Dramatic Acting. Coleman received a nomination for Best Actress at the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March press conference on the show that Coleman will be Matt Smith's companion after Karen Gillan left. Moffat has decided to choose her for the role because she has the best chemistry with Smith. Also, she spoke quicker than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Her involvement in the world of film since 1987. But, she's more recognized for her TV shows as opposed to films. In all the characters Eva has appeared in on television shows Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and the detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two that stand out. The former even earned her two nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards and gave her a chance to experiment with her talents in music. Eva is an entrepreneur, and also an actor. Her third husband is the father of her daughter.

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, is a singer-songwriter and Canadian American. Her catalog includes more than 20 albums.
