Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress who is well-known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. In the following years, she appeared in many Broadway productions, before becoming huge in the national theater area with Li'l abner's in the year 1957. She released her album It's Too Late for Tina in the following year. Her first appearance in Hollywood was as Griselda on God's Little Acre, which was a 1958 film. The film was met with wide applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award under the New Star of the year category. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's student. Louise joined CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood and Broadway as a somber character to counter her image of glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series as well as Helen Magnus, but in recent years, she has earned a reputation as a director on several famous TV shows, including Supernatural. Her birth date was August 28, 1965, in Essex. As a young girl, 3, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent throughout her early years. Then she settled in Vancouver following her selection to play Samantha Carter.
